All over the world people love to see fireworks, and there are many places where you can enjoy great firework shows. Just think about the beautiful shows in Macau, Dubai and even Scheveningen in Holland. These shows bring several countries together to compete for the best fireworks show of the year. It’s always a beautiful site to see a display of fireworks which is planned out well - the team thinks about timing, variety and aesthetic to make sure they offer the best show possible.

Since 2008 Vietnam has its very own firework show in Danang, called the Danang International Fireworks Competition. Even though the event has always been a great succes, the organisation decided to make the competition a bi-yearly event (starting in 2015) to have enough time for better preparations.
So if you’re in the area of Danang this year on the 28th and 29th of April, you’re in luck! Why not you enjoy a night in Danang and be mesmerised as a multitude of colours and patterns fill the night skies over the Han River.

Occurring since 2008 the event attracts hundred of thousands of people and feature pyrotechnic teams from all over the world competing with each other. This year the event has teams coming from South Africa, USA, Australia, Poland and Vietnam, making sure you’ll enjoy an amazing evening! Each team has 20 minutes to convince the jury and the audience of being the world’s leading firework promotion team, with a show choreographed to music.
Beside the fireworks there is a myriad of entertainment to be found in the city, such as cuisine exchanges, light shows and many more. For more information head over to the page of Danang Fireworks.
It's also a great opportunity to visit nearby Hoi An.
