Traveling with kids can be a daunting thing to do. But when you travel around Southeast Asia, you’ll soon realize it doesn’t have to be so hard. People here are very child oriented, love entertaining them and are usually well prepared for when they have little visitors (think of high chairs, activities in the restaurants and more).
When you go to Thailand it is no different. And in Hua Hin they really know what to do to get the kids to like the place. You can go cultural – by going back in time and visiting the Hua Hin Railway Stations. Not only will you see old steam engines on display, but also a beautiful Thai Pavillion that was made in honor of King Rama VI. Go back to nature at the Kui Buri National Park, where you can see Elephants in the wild, and also the largest wild cattle species, the Gaur. Cool off - as there are plenty of water parks in the area. Such as Vana Nava Hua Hin, Black Mountain Water Park or Santorini Water Fantasy. Get your inner farmer on at the Swiss Sheep Farm; great for smaller kids to feed sheep, ponies, and alpacas. Shop till you drop at the FN Factory Outlet. And then there is always the beach, where you can enjoy the sand water, and even pony rides! Make sure to pick out a nice beachfront hotel to enjoy the most out of this. Check out our favorites here.
Of course, there are so much more things to do in Hua Hin, for young and old! Let us know if we can help you plan anything while you’re there!
