Traveling Cambodia

People are very friendly and welcome you with a smile. The monks dressed  in orange are part of the important Buddhist way of life.

The highlight of Cambodia is undoubtedly the Angkor temple complex near Siem Reap, the world's largest religious building. The temples are located in the dense jungle, the most important ones are restored or under restauration. But don’t miss out the smaller, mysterious, partly overgrown temples that will tickle your imagination!

Phnom Penh is the capital of the country, once known as the Pearl of the Orient. But other areas of Cambodia are more than worth a visit. In the unspoiled and rarely visited North East of the country you will find dense jungle and waterfalls. You can follow the flow of the Mekong River,  possibly in combination with Laos or Vietnam, where the Mekong River also runs.
